RELATION BETWEEN BACKGROUNDS AND FOREGROUNDS (2009)

This was my first work into investigating into the relations between what we see and what lays behind them; you may term it as the history that affects it.

I mounted five paints that formed one united piece. In between the paintings are painted backgrounds that helps to unite the canvas paintings and the background to form that united piece.

I believe there’s definitely a relation between what is “in front” and what is “behind”
